Subject: ShavingQUESTION: I was wondering if you knew if most women shave their pubic hair before having sex. My ex-boyfriend found pubic hair disgusting, but I hate shaving. I was also wondering if most men find pubic hair disgusting. REPLY: I think recent surveys have shown that generally men preferred trimmed, not shaved (women generally feel the same way about men). Shaving is a pain, I agree, and if you don't want to do it, tell him to piss off. Pubic hair is a natural part of our anatomy and it does serve a purpose as an evolutionary feature (protects skin against all that friction and phermones). Just trim it - carefully! - with scissors and he will probably be fine with that.
