Subject: Smart BallsQUESTION: Hello, I recently purchased some smart balls, I am 45 years old and have been peeing when I sneeze or cough. My question is that once I put the smart balls in, I try to keep them in as long as I can, but then I feel the need to pee, so I take them out...should I leave them in and pee around them? I do make sure that I pee before I put them in, but I don't want to take them out to pee and then put them back in again...what kind of suggestions do you have, if any? REPLY: Smart Balls are basically Ben-Wa balls, and not really designed for tightening up pubococcygeal muscles. They are intended to provide a pleasurable sensation in the vagina while walking or moving about. Obviously, that does require some muscle control and they may help a bit, but your best bet is to practise Kegel exercises regularly. Also, there are specific devices for Kegel exercises. Natural Contours Energie is a good product. - KT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
