Subject: Ben Wa BallsQUESTION: I have never been to a sex store and am reluctant to order something online at this time but am curious about ben wa balls. I was wondering if they are about the same size and weight of a golf ball. I was thinking of trying out a golf ball to see if it did the same thing and helped with the kegel exercises. If so, and I felt comfortable with it afterward I will scare up enough courage to go to the sex store to buy something more suitable. Thank you in advance for your answer. REPLY: Ben Wa balls come in different sizes, but I'd say that, yes, generally they are around the size of a golf ball. Although they can help with Kegels, that is not their original intent. They are an ancient sex toy, and they were designed for the female to have two balls in her vagina while walking or moving about. Apparently, it feels quite pleasurable. Current models have a string and retrieval ring on them so they are easier to get out, and that would be my concern with using golf balls.
