Subject: Wet DreamsQUESTION: I recently have experianced an orgasm during my sleep that woke me. I have no idea what I was dreaming about or if I really was even dreaming. However, I know that I actually did have an orgasm. I am 49 years old and have been married for 30 years. My husband has been overseas for 6 months. This has never happened to me before and now it has happened twice in a month. Is this normal and is the female version of a wet dream? Even if I can't remember the dream? Thanks. REPLY: Yes, definitely - females do indeed have wet dreams, and everyone seems surprised by that. Your libido is building up because your partner is away, and - if you are not masturbating - it will explode when it's good and ready. That seems to be the middle of the night, in your case. While you are asleep, you are unconsciously masturbating, and probably dreaming about sex.
