Subject: Penis SizeQUESTION: Hello, I am concerned about my husband's penis. He has been circumsized but his penis stays drawn up in - his foreskin actually hides it. I think it looks a little like a shy turtle. He has no problem getting it erect, but for hygiene reasons I am concerned. Is this health issue normal? He is 35 years old. REPLY: This can be quite common in men who are overweight. Basically it depends upon the size of the penis when it is flaccid and how much "flab" is in that area of his body. The base of the penis gets buried in the fat. It has no bearing on sexual performance. Losing weight - which is always a good thing health-wise, would also mean his penis would be less covered up by fat and - at least perception wise, appears to be longer (which isn't true but you can just see more of what was always there). - KT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
