Subject: STD InfoQUESTION: My sister is widowed after 40+ years and is starting to date. Where can I get info about today's STD's questions she should be asking her partners, Before anything happens? She has met someone whose last partner was unfaithful and I'm concerned for her health. Thanks in advance. REPLY: Great question and you're a good sister for being concerned. One of the fastest growing areas for HIV is seniors. These are folks who never used condoms when growing up, and the concept is foreign to them. The AARP is trying to get that message out. Get your sister a copy of this book - "The New Love and Sex after 60." She may not be 60, but it has tons of good info about sex in later life. - KT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
