Advice Column Question & Answer

Subject: Damaged Cervix

QUESTION:

I have been trying to reach a G Spot orgasm using a 7" curved vibrator. Although unsuccessful at this point, sometimes I think I am pushing too hard. Could I damage my cervix? I would like to have children within the next couple of years and don't want anything to prevent that from happening.

REPLY:

Sexual self-exploration to the point of worrying if you are damaging your cervix, you gotta love that! Your G-spot is only 2 - 3 inches in on the front wall of your vagina, so you shouldn't even be reaching the cervix. Can you damage the cervix? I don't know and you would have to ask a doctor. I know you can bruise it. Get some information on where the G-Spot is typically located and then gently explore to find yours. It's not about brute force, I can assure you. Think come hither...
